'Strictly Come Dancing,' is well underway and we've already waved goodbye to celebs such as magician, Paul Daniels.

But one celeb who is proving a bit "hit and miss" with the ballroom show's adoring public is Ann Widdecombe. Some love her, some hate her!

In fact, prior to the competition, former Strictly judge, 'Arlene Philips,' was actually nothing short of nasty about the former Home Secretary, commenting publicly that:-

"She looks as though she's eaten too many bagels. I don't know whether she'll be as interesting as John or last as long. She could be somebody who people get bored with very quickly, a joke too far."

Granted, Widdecombe's performances certainly aren't as technically adept as those of some of the other celebs, but we frankly think that commenting about the "number of bagels," she had eaten is downright mean! And even if she might not be the most technically superb ballroom dancer appearing on the hit show, she always puts in a whole lot of effort and she is having a great time!! While it's always incredibly to watch the most talented ballroom dancers, we reckon that even amateurs should be encouraged to have a go!

Of course, we want one of the better dancers to be the overall winner. It is a dancing contest afterall. But why shouldn't Ms. Widdecombe have some ballroom dancing fun for a few weeks?
