This time of the year is simply fantastic for the reality TV fanatics. ‘X Factor’ and ‘Strictly’ go head to head for ratings and they’re both definitely the highlights of the reality TV calendar.

Ballroom Dancing contest, “Strictly Come Dancing,” is a firm favourite with UK audiences and we thought we’d go through the celebrity line up before the show gets in full swing!

The line up is fairly glitzy this year, to say the least, with celebrity contestants ranging from sports stars to soap stars and even a former MP! Let’s take a look...

- Patsy Kensit, 42 year old actress.
- Flicity Kendal, 63 year old actress.
- Gavin Henson, 28 year old Welsh rugby star.
- Paul Daniels, 72 year old celebrity magician.
- Pamela Stephenson, 60 year old TV psychologist and sex therapist.
- Peter Shilton, 60 year old former England football goalkeeper.
- Tina O-Brien, 27 year old actress.
- Goldie, 44 year old former DJ and celebrity Big Brother star.
- Michelle Williams, 30 year old former member of Destiny’s Child.
- Jimi Mistry, 37 year old actor.
- Kara Tointon, 27 year old actress.
- Matt Baker, 33 year old TV presenter.
- Scott Maslen, 39 year old actor.

So, what a lot of variety! From the twenty-somethings, to the seventy-somethings, from rugby players, to singers, actors to psychologists – this year’s line up has it all. Our guess would be that Michelle Williams would be the early favourite, having likely already had a certain amount of dancing experience. But if there’s one thing this show has taught us, it’s that there’s always a surprise or two in store.
